Hot-dip Aluminized Steel Sheet: This involves coating the surface of cold-rolled steel with an aluminum alloy to enhance the steel sheet's corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and other properties, while also providing a good surface appearance. It is used in applications where high corrosion resistance is required.

  1. Heat Resistance: Aluminized steel sheets will not discolor even at high temperatures of 450°C.
  2. Thermal Reflectivity: At 450°C, the thermal reflectivity is as high as 80%, making it suitable for oven liners, burner components, oil burners, and others.
  3. Corrosion Resistance: The performance in exhaust gas corrosion tests is superior to that of electro-galvanized and cold-rolled steel sheets, approaching the level of stainless steel.

Hot-dip aluminum-zinc-silicon coatings possess a series of advantages not found in galvanized coatings. Their applications are becoming increasingly widespread. It can be said that wherever galvanized sheets can be used, aluminum-zinc-silicon sheets can also be used; and in most applications where aluminized sheets are used, aluminum-zinc-silicon sheets can serve as a replacement.

(1) Replacing galvanized sheets in applications requiring higher corrosion resistance. The atmospheric corrosion resistance and resistance to humid gases of aluminum-zinc-silicon sheets are superior to galvanized sheets. They can be comprehensively used as various interior and exterior building materials and components.

(2) Replacing galvanized sheets in applications requiring higher processing performance. Its processing properties are the same as galvanized sheets, featuring good bend formability, excellent unidirectional ductility, and weldability. It can be cold-formed, stamped, and welded into various shapes.

(3) Replacing aluminized steel sheets in applications requiring higher heat resistance and oxidation resistance. Aluminum-zinc-silicon steel sheets can be used in high-temperature environments where galvanized sheets cannot be used and only aluminized sheets were previously used, such as in ovens, dryers, and coolers for household appliances, as well as automotive exhaust pipes, mufflers, and heat shield plates.

(4) Replacing galvanized and aluminized sheets as substrates for prepainted steel. The coating crystal flowers of aluminum-zinc-silicon are small, similar to aluminized sheets and low-spangle or zero-spangle galvanized sheets. It has strong adhesion to coatings and can be used as prepainted and printed substrates.

(5) Lower production cost compared to both galvanized and aluminized sheets, offering good economic efficiency. Aluminum-zinc-silicon sheets not only save a significant amount of the more expensive aluminum but also, compared to galvanized sheets, provide approximately 5% longer length when uncoiling steel coils of the same weight, thickness, and width. This reduces production costs, improves pricing, and increases enterprise profitability.

Applications: Agricultural machinery, heating equipment, automotive components, furnaces, microwave ovens, electric hot pots, drying ovens, baking ovens, heaters, automotive mufflers, fuel tanks, automotive exhaust pipe fittings, exterior wall decorative materials, and air ducts.
