
Aluminized steel sheet, also known as aluminized steel, is sometimes referred to as aluminized steel or hot-dip aluminized steel. It is a steel sheet coated with an aluminum-silicon alloy, consisting of approximately 90% aluminum and 10% silicon. Aluminized steel exhibits excellent heat resistance, thermal reflectivity, and corrosion resistance. Its mechanical and physical properties are superior to those of cold-rolled steel. Due to these superior characteristics, it has been widely adopted in various consumer goods, such as automotive mufflers and household appliances.
Aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets feature a unique, smooth, flat, and lustrous "star-pattern" surface with a silvery base color. This specific coating structure grants it excellent corrosion resistance. Under normal conditions, aluminum-zinc sheets can last up to 25 years. They exhibit very good heat resistance and can be used in high-temperature environments up to 315°C. The coating has strong adhesion to paint films and offers good workability, allowing for stamping, cutting, and welding. The surface also has excellent electrical conductivity.
Applications:
Galvanized steel sheets are designed to prevent surface corrosion and extend the service life of the steel. This is achieved by coating the steel surface with a layer of metallic zinc. Galvanized strip products are primarily used in the construction, light industry, automotive, agriculture/fishery, and commercial sectors.
